Tejas Jewellery started in 2008 as a physical store in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Saraswathi Vasudevan, founder wanted to convert her interest in crafts in to a business. She focused on affordable jewellery and spent several months to identify appropriate categories and collections of jewellery. The goal was to curate a collection of jewellery that is elegant, stylish, contemporary and affordable at the same time.  Over the years, the number of regular customers has increased and thanks to them, the shop is well known in the city of Thiruvananthapuram. 

Starting 2020, the pandemic made it quite impossible to operate the physical store on a consistent basis. Very clearly, an online presence was becoming a mandatory requirement. Initially products from the shop were promoted using social media. Encouraged by the success, Tejas Jewellery decided to create a full-fledged online store from where customers could browse and purchase. 

The online store, inaugurated on September 10,,2021 has been designed with ease of use in mind. Simple, clean layouts with intuitive flows facilitate smooth browsing and purchase. 

The categories in the online store include Neckalace Sets, Necklaces, Pendant sets, Bridal wear, Bangles, Kadas, Bracelets, Jhumkas (Jimikkis), Chand Bali and Studs, Maang Tikkas, Hip Chains, Nose rings, Payals. 

The styles include Dokra, Thread jewellery, Handmade Terracotta, Oxidised Silver in Gold finish and Silver finish.
